Our Mission
“To provide a safe, nurturing enviornment where every child is encouraged to discover, learn, and grow.”
We’re dedicated to fostering a love for learning through play, and tailor our approach to ignite young minds.
Who We Are
Little Rei’s of Sunshine isn’t a center. It’s a home away from home—on purpose.
We’re a small, licensed in-home playcare where littles are known, not numbered. Our days are rooted in play-based learning, creativity, routine, and real connection. The kind where kids feel safe enough to be themselves, curious enough to explore, and supported enough to grow at their own pace.
We believe childhood should feel warm, messy, imaginative, and joyful—not rushed or overly structured. Our space is calm but not boring, playful but not chaotic, and intentionally designed to feel like an extension of your family, not a facility.
Here, learning happens through play, art, music, movement, conversation, and curiosity. Littles are encouraged to try, explore, rest when needed, and build confidence in who they are becoming. We focus on social-emotional growth just as much as milestones, because strong little humans start with feeling safe, seen, and loved.
We keep our group small for a reason: quality over quantity, always.
And yes—we have fun. A lot of it.
This is where childhood shines bright.
Meet Yay-Yay
Hi, I’m Rei—though around here, most people call me Yay-Yay.
I’m the owner, operator, creative brain, and heart behind Little Rei’s of Sunshine. I’m a mom, a lifelong creative, and someone who genuinely loves watching littles discover the world in their own way. I believe kids thrive best when they’re cared for by someone who actually knows them—their quirks, their comfort items, their favorite songs, and their big feelings.
Before LROS, I wore many hats (and still do), but childcare has always been personal to me. I built this space intentionally—to feel safe, nurturing, playful, and real. No stiff rules just for the sake of rules. No unrealistic expectations. Just consistency, structure, love, and a whole lot of patience.
I run LROS with a balance of warmth and boundaries, creativity and routine, and plenty of communication with parents—because partnership matters. I treat every little like they’re part of my extended family, and I don’t take that responsibility lightly.
If you’re looking for a place where your child will be cared for, respected, encouraged, and genuinely enjoyed—you’re in the right spot.
